Senior Linux Developer – Linux, Embedded C, C++ – Helsinki/ Hybrid
My client is looking for Senior Linux Developer to join their research and development team in Helsinki. This rapidly growing company specialises in cutting-edge technologies and industrial equipment that enables quantum computing, nanotechnology and is also used in scientific research. The end-users of the software are in most cases research scientists or engineers.

Role in a nutshell:
This role is perfect for someone who is interested in wider level responsibility. This means working closely with stakeholders to map out requirements and transforming them in to a plan. You will be responsible for designing and implementation while communicating decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders.
You’ll be designing integrations to both software and hardware systems and taking ownership of the quality and project specifications. You’ll be a participating team member in the implementation stage and you’ll be also coaching the work of the development team
Required experience:
Embedded Linux knowledge with understanding of Yocto-based software projects
Working with embedded C or C++
Experience in Python scripting or Java
Experience in agile work methodologies and excellent teamwork skills
Experience in full project life cycle and experience taking responsibility for it
It’s a plus is you have experience in building CI/CD pipelines or knowledge of DevOps practices
Good written and verbal knowledge of English
