Freelance Senior Computer Vision Engineer – Medical Imaging AI

A fast-moving MedTech startup is seeking a freelance Senior Computer Vision Engineer to develop and optimize deep learning models for PET/SPECT imaging. You’ll work on cutting-edge tech like diffusion models and vision transformers to build AI tools that directly support physicians in nuclear medicine.

What you’ll do:

• Design and train deep learning models for medical image enhancement

• Optimize models for real-world clinical data (DICOM)

• Collaborate with internal teams and research partners

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in computer vision & deep learning (Python, PyTorch)

• Strong background in medical imaging (PET/SPECT a plus)

• Experience with model deployment and MLOps
