AI Engineer – Intelligent Agents

A fast-growing AI startup is looking for a freelance AI Engineer to help build and deploy intelligent agents transforming a legacy industry. You’ll work on real-world automation problems—starting with document understanding and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)—and help scale production-ready ML systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and deploy AI agents for real-world workflows

• Improve RAG pipelines and model performance

• Design human-in-the-loop feedback systems

• Work with modern ML stacks (Python, PyTorch, AWS/GCP)

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ ML experience (MS/PhD a plus)

• Strong Python + ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Hands-on with LLMs, agent architectures, or RAG systems

• Freelance availability, ready to dive into fast-paced delivery

Nice to Have:

• NLP, vision, or speech processing experience

• Familiarity with vector search / graph DBs

Compensation: $140–200/hr DOE
