System Engineer
Location: Södertälje, Sweden (Hybrid)
*Contract position- 12 months with possibility to extend*
Our client is a leading Automotive brand with a Global presence. They are currently looking to hire a System Engineer for a Contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new methods, processes, and tools integrated into the normal development process with a focus on safety.
- Ensure that developed methods, processes, and tools maintain an appropriate level of product safety and are sustained over time.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new processes effectively and demonstrate the value of safety-oriented methods, processes, and tools.
- Coach developers on maintaining a safety mindset during development and emphasize the value of safety-related methods and tools.
- Collect and summarize documentation to assess and present the current safety level of the system.
- Work collaboratively with other system engineers to ensure safety, operational stability, and cybersecurity in the automated driving system.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in electrical engineering or similar field.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory); proficiency in Swedish is considered a merit.
- Experience in process and method development is preferred.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO26262) is desirable.
- Experience working with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other development tools is advantageous.
