Senior Data Architect (Snowflake / Azure / Databricks) – Belgium (Hybrid)

A leading consultancy / end-client in Belgium is hiring a Senior Data Architect to help shape and deliver modern data platforms across enterprise customers.

This is a senior-level role for someone who can own architecture, guide technical direction, and work closely with business + engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end data architecture (cloud platform + data modelling + governance)

• Design scalable solutions using Snowflake as the core data platform

• Architect modern Azure-based data ecosystems (Data Lake / ELT / orchestration / security)

• Build and optimise pipelines and transformation layers using Databricks

• Enable analytics and reporting use cases through Power BI

• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT + business to translate requirements into robust designs

• Coach / guide data engineers and contribute to best practices and standards

Must-have Experience

• Strong background as a Senior Data Architect (data platforms / enterprise architecture)

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Snowflake

  • Azure

  • Databricks

  • Power BI

• Deep understanding of data architecture concepts:

  • Data modelling, governance, integration patterns, security, data quality

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Languages

• Dutch + French (both required)

• English is a plus

Location

• Belgium – hybrid working (Brussels/Antwerp/Ghent typically depending on assignment)
