Test Automation Engineer
Location: Finland
My client a leading medical device company is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to their team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Python, Linux, and Robot Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for testing medical device software and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.
- Configure and maintain test environments, including Linux-based systems.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Participate in test planning, strategy, and execution phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation processes and tools.
- Document test procedures, results, and defects in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in test automation using Python and Robot Framework.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the medical devices industry is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
